The results of the international contest of tourist photos, called Siena International Photo Awards, which was attended by photographers from more than 100 countries. Photos of travelers from India, China, Bangladesh, Turkey, Cuba, Bahrain and other countries of the imagination - they are varied as life itself. Works of winners until November 30, presents the exhibition "For the lens" in Siena, Italy, and we can see them here.

An exploding volcano, a nosy killer whale and a very brave skier: The new photo contest that is setting EXTREMELY high standards
The Siena International Photo Awards, held at the Teatro dei
Rozzi on Sunday, revealed winners across 11 categories in total.
Pictured main is Mount Etna erupting in Italy, winner of the Nature
category, bottom left a killer whale drawn to a fishing boat in Tromsø,
Norway, winner of the Wildlife category and bottom right a skier leaps
from a 32-foot cliff, also shot in Tromso, Norway, which won the Sport
category.

- French photographer Greg Lecoeur was crowned the overall winner with a staggering underwater shot

These remarkable photos are the highly deserving winners of a prestigious new photography contest.
The
Siena International Photo Awards, held at the Teatro dei Rozzi on
Sunday, revealed winners across 11 categories in total - among them
Nature, Wildlife, Travel and Sport.
French
photographer Greg Lecoeur was crowned the overall winner with his
highly evocative underwater photograph immortalising marine predators
hunting during the migratory period of sardines along the coast of South
Africa.
Norwegian
snapper Audun Rikardsen won two first places in both the Wildlife and
Sport categories, with his portrait of a killer whale and his shot of a
daredevil skier in Norway's Tromso respectively.
And
the billowing eruption of Mount Etna easily took the top spot in the
Nature category, captured in all its splendour by Italian photographer
Giuseppe Mario Famiani.
The
award ceremony marked the start of Siena's Art Photo Travel Festival,
which will run for 30 days with a range of major events and exhibitions -

Nature, first place: The billowing
eruption of Mount Etna easily took the top spot in the Nature category,
captured in all its splendour by Italian photographer Giuseppe Mario

Wildlife, first place: Audun
Rikardsen's shot of a killer whale which has been drawn towards a
fishing boat by the promise of some lingering herring in Tromso, Norway

Overall winner: French photographer
